GENERAL INFORMATION

Basadi Baiketsetsa Occupational Health was established in 2002 by a group of Occupational Health Practitioners, mainly women, practicing in Vanderbijlpark and expanded later to Sasolburg. Since then the company has been rendering occupational health services to contractors as well as to small and medium size companies in the Vaal Triangle, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Middelburg / Witbank, West and East Rand at out Sasolburg branch. Our mobile unit delivers a service throughout South Africa. Our head office is situated in Naledi Industrial park, Sasolburg where in excess of 18 000 employees are certified medically fit for duty annually. Basadi Baiketsetsa Occupational Health is BEE compliant with a 32 % black ownership and an additional 50% equity ownership by women.

The focus of Basadi Baiketsetsa Occupational Health is to provide a one-stop service to its clients, mainly independent contractors. Our product is defined by mainly two Acts: The Mine Health and Safety Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Basadi Medical Surveillance was established in 2009 as a sister company of Basadi Baiketsetsa Occupational Health. Sarel Henderson joined the company during 2011 as the CEO. Basadi Medical Surveillance is a specialized Occupational Health and Safety Company - who believes in:

We are passionate about legal compliance and relevant standard adherence - and will assist our clients to do exactly that - become legally compliant. Our Company offers a comprehensive and cost-effective service that is supported by an effective management system.

Our Medical Surveillance and Training Centre is situated on the property of Sarens SA, in 2 Chris Street, Alrode, Alberton, next to one of the main roads - Swartkoppies.

As an independent service provider we draw prospective clients with quality and unique individuality rendered at our centre.

The Curent Group Structure consists of one Medical Practitioner who specialises in Occupational Health, Occupational Health Nursing Practitioners, a Chartered Accountant and a Marketing Manager.
